MLK Dreamteam Founder, Bea Moten-Foster, Leaves
Lasting Legacy

FROM THE STAR PRESS by Andrew Walker

The motto Bea Moten-Foster passed on to her daughter was almost as powerful
as her long list of accomplishments.

"Never accept 'No' from somebody who doesn't have the power to say 'Yes,' " she
would say.

Moten-Foster, The Muncie Times owner and publisher and well-known youth
activist and community leader, died Saturday morning.

She was 73.
